Our Story
Katherine and Ty met at Georgia Tech in August 2019 in the Theta Xi house. They went to semi formal and six flags later that year, and Ty asked Katherine to be his girlfriend on February 11, 2020 - a quick yes! Virtual dates in COVID eventually led to Ty visiting St. George Island, FL for the first time, making the start of several wonderful trips to the beach together. Through ski trips, graduations, study abroad summers, and World Series wins, Ty proposed to Katherine on the beach at SGI on December 19, 2022, commemorating it as one of their favorite places to travel together.
